GROWING LIST
I remember your recent Sunday strip with the minister addressing his congregation concerning all of the now allowable behaviors. I note that you left the list open, with the possibility of new additions being later incorporated. I gurss that separating children from their parents is the latest addition to that growing list.

OUT LOUD
I laugh out loud every time I think of today's punch line. Your brilliance and great political commentary continue unabated. Thanks.

GOT ME
You got me where I live this morning. One of my great hopes is that newspapers and particularly Doonesbury last longer than I do.

PAST WEEK
The past week of Classic strips has been a stinging reminder of what Trump is not (a normal person) and what he will never do (recognize, take responsibility, and atone for his mistakes). Thank you.

HARBINGER OF HOPE
The June 10th Sunday strip is the best ever. I have been a devoted reader, but this one took my breath away! I cut it out and will save it to remind me that there are like minds out there. Thank you for being a voice of reason and the harbinger of hope. kathy

DOOMED
I don't know if the recent strips are an effort to awe me on your prescience or just depress me by showing that nothing changes and we are doomed to an infinite loop.
-
HONOR
Honor among Congressquitters has become a quaint, antiquated notion.

A MERE BAGATELLE
Ah, the good ole daze. Remember when the S&L crisis was a big deal? A couple of hundred billion here, a couple there, pretty soon we're talking real money. Now it seems a mere bagatelle!

US-NK VIDEO
I can't figure out whether Wednesday's Today's Video, "US - NK Singapore Summit Video" is a) PR, b) Propaganda, or c) Parody. My best guess is, a & b for the mouth-breathers, and c for the rest of us. Who produced that thing, please?
Editor's Note:It was created by the National Security Council, according to this article.

HOPE AND LAUGHTER
I've been a fan of Doonesbury for many, many years. I still get the Sunday paper and save Doonesbury for last. Sunday's cartoon was even more amazing than usual. It actually brought tears to my eyes. In a time of craziness, we need people like you to remind us that this is not normal and we can change things. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just wanted to let you know how much this fan appreciates you and your message. It gives me hope and laughter. Please keep going!!!

NAIVE
I, too, want to praise Sunday's strip. Let's just hope that the right to vote will still be ours, and that a peaceful transition of power is still possible. Honestly, after the past year I don't think we should assume anything. We can't afford to be naïve if we truly want our country to survive intact.

PSA
Just thank you for Sunday, June 10th's PSA strip.

UNDRESSED
I wanted to take the time to thank you for Sunday's strip. In this day and age when we are forced to accept the abnormal as the new normal, it takes courage to make a stand and say what needs to be said, and you have undressed a counterfeit president masterfully. I applaud you, sir!

SANITY
Thank God I found this website, bringing sanity to life under Trump. We are grateful for GBT's satire in creating humor around the top stories of the day. We need some on gun control, pending isolationism, as well as expansion of the military/industrial complex." Keep up the fight!

NORM/NORMA
Thank you for this past Sunday's strip with Norm/Norma. Yes yes yes. This is the person we want. I cut it out and shared it with many friends at lunch. Keep reminding us, as I think too many folks have lowered their expectations, and they shouldn't. Thanks again. This person will be our next president.

BEST
Sunday's strip may be best strip ever, worded to satisfy our polarized political environment, yet handily makes a point. I suggest a sequel, keyed on opposite sarcasm. Same panels, same word balloons, new words. Serious, subtle, even believable. Follow that up with a version with blank balloons -- Do It Yourself.

BRIGHTEN MY SPIRIT
I want to thank you for your Trump-related cartoons, I enjoy them so very much. It's hard living in Wichita Falls, Texas and being an intelligent, liberal older woman (I moved here to be close to my kids and grandbabies). Your cartoons remind me that there are like-minded, idealist people still, and they brighten my spirit. I loved your 6/10/18 idealistic cartoon; it gave me hope and positivity. Thanks so much!

A BETTER FUTURE
Doonesbury is the first thing I read in the Sunday paper. Yesterday's strip was one of the best that I have ever read. As usual, you were right on spot! Thanks. We needed the encouragement that we together can make a better future.

WHITE HOUSE
I see that Elizabeth Kuhn beat me to it, but I also intend to send Sunday's strip to the president. I think it would be great if we could flood the White House mailroom with copies of this commentary!
